Nitish directs officers to start work on
Patna Metro rail project soon
Patna, Jul 30 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed authorities concerned to start the work on Patna Metro rail project at the earliest. Mr Kumar gave this direction during presentation on Patna Metro rail project before him by principal secretary (urban development and housing department) Chaitanya Prasad.
Mr Prasad apprised CM of the progress being made in Patna Metro rail project so far. Later, Mr Kumar directed authorities concerned to take appropriate steps for acquiring land connected to proposed metro corridor.
Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, state urban development and housing minister Suresh Sharma, chief secretary Deepak Kumar, development commissioner Subhash Sharma, principal secretary (road construction department) Amrit Lal Meena, principal secretary to chief minister Chanchal Kumar, principal secretary (finance department) S Siddharth and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
